Five acts of kindness that you can do every day:

  • Say ‘’I love you’’ as often as possible-

Often people take others for granted. It’s good to remind our dear ones how important they are to us. It is advisable that you make a phone call to a member of your family or a friend who hasn’t spoken to you for a while now. Remember to express your love and gratitude towards them.

  • Help an elderly neighbor-

Visit an elderly neighbor to see if they need any help or things from the store. This is often greatly appreciated, especially in bad weather or if they are sick. Try to spare a few minutes a week having a chat or a cup of tea with someone who lives alone in your neighborhood. This small act of kindness could brighten up their week.

  • Greet a stranger-

Say hello and have a chat with the person standing next to you, whether in a queue at the bank or while waiting for a bus. This can be awkward at first but if the other person responds then it can be a very rewarding act of kindness which will help you both feel more comfortable and happy.

  • Buy eateries for a homeless person-

Buying food and a hot drink for a homeless every day is not possible for many of us, but at least you can do it once a month. If every good-hearted person follows your example- this can make a huge difference to the unfortunate people’s day- it may even save their lives.

  • Donation of clothes-

If you have clothes that do not fit or you haven’t worn some for a long time, then get into the habit of taking them to the charity house. You could start a rule that you donate an item of clothing each time you buy a new one.
