- Taking care of your joints:
Your posture can have a considerable impact on your joints. Avoid overstressing the joints and gripping too tight when picking something up. Try to spread the weight on larger and stronger joints whenever you can- E.g.: If you’re opening the door then involve your arms and shoulders, not just your hands.
- Eating Well:
Balance diet maintains a healthy weight and provides nutrients which the body needs to nourish the joints and bones. Include in your diet plenty of fatty fish, nuts, seed beans and leafy green. Vegetables such as broccoli and other cruciferous types can help in the fight against arthritis. Olive oil also has anti-inflammatory power.

Positive thinking helps to fight any health condition and combat pain. The brain is wired up with the whole of your body; therefore both the positive and negative thoughts would surely affect the body. Try thinking positive thoughts and practice to stay in the present. Positive thinking is now widely used which reduces the use of pharmaceuticals.
- Active lifestyle:
When you are in pain, you feel like staying still to reduce the pain. However, activity and exercise are actually very good for arthritis and as long as you are doing the right exercises you will notice considerable improvement. Your active life brings more energy, a better range of movements, increased muscle strength and more effective joint mobility.
